Hear ye hear ye! Good folk of Sheffield, get your creepiest fancy dress on and come along for an evening of spooky tales and music.

Join Sheffield Folklore Society for an evening of spooky stories, poetry and samhain folklore as we gather for Samhain at Groke Coffee in Kelham island.

Come dressed to impress! Fancy dress is encouraged and we'll be giving a prize to our best dressed guest.

Throughout the evening, we’ll be opening the floor to storytellers and poets, sharing tales and verse inspired by the darker side of folklore and Samhain. If you’d like to perform, we’re looking for storytellers and poets to fill our slots sign up here.

Halfway through the evening, we’ll take a musical interlude with the fantastic Mills & Farrell folk duo, bringing us some wonderful atmospheric folk music before we return to our stories.

We’ll also have copies of our Samhain issue of the Sheffield Folklore Society zine available to buy, packed with samhain folklore!

So come along, put on your finest spooky outfits and enjoy an evening of stories, songs, poetry and folklore.
